Out for St. Patrick’s Weekend!

So excited that it’s weekend again!

I gotta say that the time flies incredibly fast here for some reason… Finally, I could set the schoolwork aside temporarily and go out with my lovely friends. It’s St. Patrick’s weekend!!! Well, technically it’s held on March 17 but the date is on Tuesday this year, so we decided to celebrate it earlier. You’ll notice that people stack on their clover and green goodies at every corner of the street on these days. It’s fun to see how people can get really creative with it! There are some cool things to do in Penn Yan that I’m pretty sure you will enjoy them as much as I do here. Two of my besties, Chloe and Jenny, took me out for a drink at MVP’s Sports Bar and Grill before we headed to the Keuka Restaurant just near by. An important fact to note when you’re in the US is that you can only start consuming alcohol when you turn 21 years old. You will also be requested to show your legal ID or passport (applied for international students who don’t have a driving license) before you can enter the bar or buy any alcoholic drink. So what if you’re under 21? Oopsy! Just be patient because you will get that old eventually ;). I was so hungry so we ordered some chicken wings at MVP first. My favorite flavors are Garlic Parmesan and Jerk, but I hear the Honey Jerk is tasty as well!

People say the greatest gift of life is friendship, isn’t it true?
